Who we are?
Step to Shelter Merseyside is a dedicated charity operating in both Birkenhead and Liverpool, committed to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness. Our mission is to provide immediate assistance to rough sleepers through a responsive outreach system.
Rather than operating from a fixed location, we rely on public engagement. Concerned members of the community can report rough sleepers via our contact system, enabling our outreach team to conduct welfare checks and offer support. Our goal is to ensure those in need receive essential aid, guidance, and access to services that can help them move towards stability and shelter.
Together, we can make a difference—one step at a time.
